The Problem
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent increase in home working, EA Technology were unable to hold their usual events or engage with their key stakeholders through direct mail marketing. This had a significant impact on the roll out of major business projects and innovation during 2020/21.
The Brief
Engage directly with local communities that have alternative low voltage energy projects such as Photo Voltaic, Wind Turbine or Ground Source heating. Make them aware of the ground-breaking Open LV project to make local electricity data openly available. And how the OpenLV project will benefit communities, individuals and businesses across the UK.
The Solution
We created 2, 1 hour long webinars, using a mixture of graphics, animation and video. We delivered an advertising campaign to promote attendance of the webinar events using a mixture of social media and email marketing. As well putting ‘bums on seats’ we also hosted the webinars themselves and facilitated both events. Finally we worked with the EA Technology Team on post event marketing to increase engagement and awareness.
The Results
We provided an end-to-end solution which took the potential client ‘headache’ away. Working very closely with the project team at EA Technology we delivered two highly successful webinars. Anecdotal evidence suggests that there were up to 80% more people watching and taking part in the webinars than the client would normally see at a similar event. And added to that the costs were significantly lower than holding a physical event too, so it was definitely a case of win win.
