TPT Retirement Solutions

The Problem

TPT are one of the leading work-based pension scheme providers in the UK. They administer over 2,000 pension schemes, look after over 389,000 members and have £13bn Assets Under Management. That means an awful lot of admin and reporting is required to communicate to the numerous pension scheme trustees.

The Brief

For each pension scheme that TPT administers a 16pp Annual Review is required, detailing a whole series of metrics on scheme performance, investment results, administration etc. We were briefed to create 43 of these documents for some of the larger schemes that TPT look after. Each document was unique and contained in-depth data on how each pension scheme was performing. As well as text every document contained bespoke graphs, tables, charts, imagery and graphics. Our deadline was just 4 weeks from provision of the data to delivery of final artwork.

The Solution

Our artwork team developed a production system that allowed us to automate part of the production process and also created a means by which we could produce the graphs and charts simply and efficiently. The whole team mucked in and helped with proofing each document and with Pensions being a regulated industry there were serious compliance and proofing hurdles that we overcame too.

The Results

We are often at our best when under pressure and this occasion was no different. We rose to the challenge and delivered everything on time, within budget and with a smile on our face. With over 600 pages of content, it was a considerable achievement in 4 weeks and one that we are rightly proud of.
